INTRODUCING OUR NEWEST INITIATIVE:
ACTIVE HOPE: Sharing Solutions, Inspiring Action
In the face of environmental devastation and climate chaos, it can be easy to feel anxious and powerless.
But what if we focused on what’s working, and what we each can do to make a real difference?
There are people everywhere working diligently to protect and restore nature, make better buildings, grow food regeneratively, install community renewable power, reclaim earth-honouring traditions, and transform their homes, schools, workplaces and communities into a living vision of our sustainable and equitable future.
Our Active Hope project seeks to amplify these positive stories of change: to put a spotlight on actions that folks of all ages, and youth in particular, are taking to move the needle on the climate and biodiversity crises, and build a better, greener, more just world!
We are building a campaign platform for people to tell those stories, in their own voice. A curated library of short video clips and inspirational how-tos. A place to connect and be inspired. A little haven of positive news and real solutions, to help combat our experience of eco-anxiety, and fuel the engaged and active hope that drives change.
We are growing this campaign now with help from supporters and partners, to launch in 2025!
In the meantime we want to share a gift with you!
Check out our first Jellyfish Project Active Hope short film below, featuring ceramic ARTivist, Clare Wilkening.
Active Hope: Whales Forever features Clare's Orca Tiles 'living painting'. Clare uses her unique skills as a regenerative artist to raise awareness about the Southern Resident Orcas, who are at risk of extinction within our lifetimes, and offers ways we can help them and their unique culture survive and thrive.
